Abode welcomes new merchandiser
Barnsley-based kitchen and bathroom brand Abode has welcomed Malcolm Ash as a merchandiser on a 12-month secondment from parent company Norcros South Africa.
Malcolm will support Abode’s national retail presence by maintaining product displays and working closely with store partners across the UK.
Based at Abode’s solar-powered headquarters, he brings valuable experience from his role in Norcros South Africa’s sales team.
Matthew Pitt, managing director at Abode, said: “Forming connections is central to Norcros and the careers of our people can benefit greatly from the international dimension of our operations.
“Transferring skills between the different businesses like this introduces new perspectives that can really strengthen our business, making it more than the sum of its parts.”
