Fabulosa future for Cheshire cleaning firm
A cleaning products company is set to reach new overseas markets after securing investment.
Nantwich-headquartered My Fabulosa has been backed by an eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK to support international expansion plans.
Bosses say it will ramp up exports to France, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland, and explore US expansion.
It will also fund a third fully automated production line, increasing capacity four-fold and enabling a greater use of recyclable packaging.
They add the business, which supplies a range of homecare products, including surface care, air care, laundry care and garden care, expects to grow turnover by 25 per cent year-on-year.
James Sharpe, founder, said: “HSBC UK’s support is helping us reach key milestones in our growth journey, enabling us to expand into new international markets, while continuing to deliver our diverse product range to customers worldwide.
“With increased production capacity, we’re well-positioned to meet growing global demand.”
The funding includes a mix of receivables and trade finance, along with an asset finance solution from CHG Meridian.
Zubayr Atcha, global relationship director at HSBC UK, added: “We’re proud to support My Fabulosa as it accelerates its growth strategy.
“The investment in new machinery is a vital step in helping the business scale up production, expand into overseas markets and continue meeting rising customer demand.”
