Channel 3 Consulting expands advisory team
Digital healthcare consultancy Channel 3 Consulting has appointed Joe Harrison CBE as strategic advisor, strengthening its leadership as the company grows its impact across health and care.
Joe is chief executive of Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and national director for digital channels at NHS England.
He brings frontline and national experience in digital transformation, having led innovations such as the NHS App and NHS.uk.
In his new role, Joe will support Channel 3’s clients across the NHS and local government, advising on how digital tools can improve outcomes for patients, staff and organisations.
He said: “I’m pleased to be joining Channel 3 at such a pivotal moment.
“I’ve worked with the team and know the impact they make on the ground.
“They combine strategic thinking with delivery that works, which is exactly what systems need right now.
"Digital transformation can’t be theoretical.
“It needs to be connected to the reality of clinical practice, organisational pressures and service improvement.
“Channel 3 understands that. I’m looking forward to helping them expand their influence and support even more organisations to deliver meaningful change.”
Joe’s appointment builds on a series of strategic hires as Channel 3 expands its work across health, care and education.
Leo Jones, chief executive of Channel 3 Consulting, added: “Joe brings enormous credibility, insight and leadership at a time when the NHS is under pressure to deliver smarter, joined-up digital change.
“His national perspective and operational understanding will strengthen the work we’re doing across systems, from EPR programmes and strategic transformation to the development of new models of care.
“As we continue to grow, our focus is clear: helping clients move from strategy to impact and building solutions that genuinely change lives.
“Joe’s appointment will play a key role in that.”
