UKAT appoints mental health leader to board
UKAT Group has appointed Joy Chamberlain to its board of directors as the national addiction and mental health treatment provider enters a new phase of strategic growth.
Widely regarded as one of the UK’s most influential mental health leaders, Joy brings more than 27 years’ experience, including senior roles at Partnerships in Care and Elysium Healthcare.
She has led multiple high-profile transactions and built clinically led services across the sector.
Joy said: “UKAT represents the very best of what private healthcare should offer –clinical integrity, accessibility and a deeply human approach to treatment.
“I’m excited to join the Board at such a pivotal time and to support the team as we strive to increase access to world-class care for individuals and families across the UK.”
Joy’s appointment follows UKAT’s recent acquisition by private equity firm Sullivan Street Partners and signals an ambition to expand its person-centred, evidence-based treatment model nationwide.
Daniel Gerrard, chief executive of the UKAT Group, added: “We are absolutely honoured to welcome Joy Chamberlain to the UKAT board.
“Joy’s exceptional experience, particularly in leading high-growth organisations through complex regulatory environments, is perfectly aligned with our mission to expand and diversify UKAT’s service offering in response to growing national demand, and Joy’s strategic counsel will be invaluable.”
