Leadership change at PTSG in West Yorkshire
Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), based in Castleford, West Yorkshire, has announced a leadership transition as part of its long-term strategy.
Chief operating officer Greg Ward has been appointed chief executive, succeeding Nikhil Varty, who steps down after two years for personal reasons.
Greg has played a key role in driving operational improvements across the business and is now set to lead the next phase of PTSG’s growth.
PTSG employs over 3000 people across more than 50 sites, providing specialist services in access and safety, electrical services, building access, fire solutions and water treatment.
The Group continues to expand through a mix of organic growth and targeted acquisitions.
Executive chairman Paul Teasdale said: “We are a business that sets high standards – for ourselves, for our performance and for our industry.
“Under Greg’s leadership, we will continue to unite commercial ambition with operational delivery, ensuring that every part of our business is working in step to meet the evolving needs of our customers across the UK and beyond.
“We have built something extraordinary at PTSG – but there is more to come.
“Our growth targets are ambitious, but with the right leadership, the right culture and an unrelenting focus on delivery, they are absolutely achievable.
“Greg has the full confidence of the board and of our people.
“He brings energy, integrity and clarity of vision – and he understands that true leadership is not just about results, but about people, relationships and pride in the work we do.”
