PHS appoints new director
North East-based PHS, parent company of 0800 Repair and Oakes Energy Services, has appointed Mark Kearney as director of a new division within PHS Solutions.
Mark brings over 25 years’ experience in housing and construction, including senior roles at Engie (Keepmoat) and Wates Construction.
A post-graduate RICS Quantity Surveyor, he will lead the launch and growth of the division, which aims to expand the company’s capital works across residential and commercial sectors.
Mark said: “I’m proud to be joining PHS at such a pivotal point in its growth.
“PHS Solutions represents a real opportunity to broaden what we can offer our customers, and I’m excited to be leading a team that’s focused on the customer, quality and innovation.”
The new division complements the capabilities of 0800 Repair and Oakes Energy, offering customers a seamless full-service experience.
It has already secured a ten-year framework with Gentoo for whole house refurbishments as part of the Gentogether Partnership.
Phil Pallister, chief executive at PHS, 0800 Repair and Oakes, added: “Mark’s deep expertise and leadership in the sector make him the perfect person to drive this next chapter.
“With the launch of this new branch, PHS will, for the first time, be able to bid for projects previously out of reach under our 0800 Repair and Oakes Energy brands.
“This expansion enables us to fulfil our commitment to providing reliable, end-to-end service for all our customers.”
Jason Oakes, a director at PHS, added: “We’re delighted to have Mark join us and be part of our growing team at PHS.
“His arrival comes at an exciting time as we expand our new division, which will be central to delivering our ten-year framework with Gentoo.
“Working with partners, our team will play a key role in improving the energy efficiency and quality of homes across Sunderland.”
