Perfect Storm lands purr-fect new client
A marketing agency and pet data company are joining forces to support ambitious national growth plans.
Leeds-based Perfect Storm has been appointed by identi Group, a pet microchipping and data business, following a competitive five-way pitch.
Bosses say the partnership will see Perfect Storm shape identi’s brand strategy, customer journey and visual identity.
They add that the group is targeting market leadership in the UK by the end of 2025, with the collaboration set to culminate in an integrated marketing campaign across PR, sponsorship and digital.
Dave Nutter, co-founder and director of Perfect Storm, said: “It’s always brilliant to have the opportunity to work with a market-leading business, and the team can’t wait to get their teeth stuck into the brand proposition for identi.
“As the innovator in the sector, there’s vital work to be done raising awareness of how pet owners can keep their beloved animals as safe as possible.
“As an agency this builds on our experience working with other pet-related businesses, such as Mars Petcare and Royal Canin.
“The many office dogs we have approve!”
Claire Jefferies, chief marketing officer at York-based identi, which owns 13 pet-focused brands, including identibase and Animal Tracker, spanning both consumer and B2B markets, added: “Perfect Storm quickly seemed like a perfect fit for the brief; their unique model felt ideal for us.
“They’ll be working closely with the team so great chemistry was a must.
“But their approach and the level of detail they provided, alongside their experience and passion for the industry, meant we could really see our vision come to life.”
