Dash enhances regional reach with new depot
A Cornwall-based delivery firm is strengthening its South West network as it targets regional growth and greener operations.
Dash Express, part of The Dash Group and The APC network, has taken over The APC’s 5,500sq ft Exeter depot, located in Woodbury Business Park.
Bosses say the move enhances its coverage across Devon and Cornwall, adding to existing sites in Plymouth and Redruth.
They add that the business is also looking to expand its team and invest in new facilities, including electric vehicle infrastructure and solar panels, as it eyes future services like same-day and pallet delivery.
Paul Dash, operations director at The Dash Group, said: “Since becoming part of The APC network, we’ve seen our logistics division go from strength to strength, fuelled by the drive and ambition of local businesses throughout the South West.
“Exeter plays an important role in our long-term strategy, and this latest investment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing SMEs with tailored delivery solutions that empower them to grow with confidence.”
Jonathan Smith, chief executive at The APC, added: “The Dash Group’s growth in the South West reflects exactly what The APC network is built on – supporting local businesses through strong regional service and nationwide reach.
“Their ongoing investment, from expanding depot capacity to strengthening their team, reflects a clear commitment to delivering the service and support that local businesses need to thrive.”
