Recruiter eyes jobs after city office switch
A recruitment firm is primed for expansion after completing an office move.
Marconi Associates has switched to Newcastle’s Bank House high-rise.
It says the base will provide a platform to double revenues to £2 million and create at least five jobs by the end of the year.
Operating across the robotics and automation sectors, the business – which has moved into Cubo’s flexible office space in Bank House – supports start-ups and venture capital-backed companies.
Connor Farley, Marconi Associates’ founder and managing director, said: “Our move marks an exciting milestone.
“With our team in the office five days a week, we wanted to provide them with a first-class workspace and a dynamic, sociable environment.
“Cubo offers everything a young and growing business needs; the facilities and vibrant community at Bank House provide the perfect platform for us to accelerate growth.”
Marc Brough, Cubo chief executive, added: “We are delighted to welcome Connor and his team.
“Bank House is the perfect fit for global businesses like Marconi Associates, and is attracting a diverse range of companies looking to be based in one of the city’s most high-profile buildings.”
