Cocktail brand eyes EU push with £1.5 million lift
A tequila cocktail firm is raising a glass to growth after securing £1.5 million backing.
Pimentae is rolling out European expansion plans following a multi-investor funding round.
Bosses say the cash will provide “firepower” to move into the Netherlands and Germany later this year and bolster its retail and travel sector presence.
Led by Wynter Karo and Alice Parmiter, London-based ready-to-drink cocktail maker Pimentae counts Waitrose, Ocado, Co-op, John Lewis and British Airways as stockists, with its range including canned and bottled margaritas.
Its funding round was led by FIGR Ventures and included further backing from Revenge Capital, Solo Investments Holdings and entrepreneurs Puneet and Poonam Gupta.
Pimentae co-founder Wynter said: “This raise marks a defining moment in Pimentae’s journey.
“With new firepower behind us, we’re ready to unlock major growth across UK retail and European markets.”
Ellie Craig, FIGR Ventures portfolio director, added: “Wynter and Alice are building more than just a product – they’re building a movement.
“Pimentae stands out in the ready-to-drink space by combining premium quality with cultural relevance and beautiful designs.”
