Hicomply takes flight with US expansion
A Newcastle-based software company is expanding its international footprint with a new base in North America.
Hicomply, a specialist in information security management, has opened a new hub in Denver, Colorado, to support “surging demand” for its compliance software in the US and Canada.
The US expansion will be led by Simon Noble, Hicomply’s global VP of partnerships, and Adam Dixon, global VP of sales, supported by chief executive Mark Edgeworth, who brings over 25 years’ experience leading international growth across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Mark says the move is part of the company’s wider global growth strategy and will help better serve international clients and partners, including A-Lign, in the US, and Intensity, in Canada.
He adds that the location of the new hub, in Downtown Denver, will put Hicomply in the heart of a thriving tech and compliance cluster, with the company now actively recruiting across sales, partnerships and customer success roles to support the expansion.
Mark said: “Denver stood out to us as a base for many reasons.
“The wealth of talent in the region, strong partner demand from the Midwest, and the benefits of operating in the Mountain Time zone, all make it an ideal location to serve customers right across North America.
“We are seeing a significant uplift in demand for our platform in the US and Canada.
“While SOC 2 remains a key driver, we’re also supporting increasing numbers of North American businesses that need ISO certification to operate internationally.
“Our ability to support multiple standards across multiple geographies is a core reason why Hicomply is winning customers globally.
“This latest move strengthens our international footprint and reflects our commitment to delivering world-class service wherever our customers do business.”
