Lock Stock unlocks Cheshire expansion plans
A North Wales-based storage company has entered new territory with plans for major growth.
Lock Stock Self Storage has opened its first Cheshire site in Winsford, as it targets ten new parks by 2026, including five in the county.
The family-run firm now operates 30 parks across Wales, the North West and the Midlands.
The new Winsford site, on Nat Lane, spans 1.5 acres and will include 224 units.
Mike Trow, operations manager at Lock Stock Self Storage, said: “We’re incredibly proud to bring Lock Stock to Cheshire.
“This is a thriving, dynamic region and we believe our flexible, affordable storage is a great fit.
“The new Winsford site is more than just a storage park – it’s a modern, secure and easy-to-use space designed with customers in mind.
“The Nat Lane site will have a mix of ten-foot, 20-foot and 40-foot containers, with the largest providing more than 4000 cubic feet of storage space.”
The company, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary later this year, expects to exceed 5000 storage units by the end of the summer, with demand growing from private customers, small businesses and students.
Mike added: “We’ve come a long way from our beginnings in Denbigh.
“But what hasn’t changed is our commitment to great service, high standards and providing safe, accessible storage to our communities.”
