CPMG grows talent across UK studios
Award-winning architectural practice CPMG has strengthened its teams in Nottingham, Birmingham and London as part of its sustainable growth strategy.
New recruits include part 2 architectural assistant Saad Thobani, in Birmingham, and architectural student Alice Rallo, in London, both focusing on BREEAM, design development and client collaboration.
At CPMG’s Nottingham headquarters, senior architectural technologist Gary Matthews and senior architect Chris Goodwin – returning after 23 years – bring extensive experience across sectors including schools, residential and healthcare.
Richard Flisher, managing director at CPMG, said: “Championing our team across all our locations as they grow and develop at whatever level they may be is something that is heavily engrained in who we are at CPMG.
“We continue to embody our mission, which focuses on creating spaces while recognising that people's environments are critical to who they are and to their wellbeing.
“Across all the sectors we work, in all our studios and within all our projects, we’ll continue to showcase the importance of this mission and to always keep the end users in mind.”
CPMG’s recent projects include the Maritime Academy, in Frindsbury, and the Stirland Ward refurbishment, at Nottingham City Hospital.
This year also marks the ten-year anniversary of CPMG’s London studio, reflecting its successful multi-office expansion since 2015.
Chris White, director at CPMG and lead at the London studio, added: “Our transition to the London market ten years ago was underpinned by a clear vision to embed ourselves as a contender in the capital.
“We now have ten talented members in our team and counting.
“We have occupied a lovely new studio since 2024, with a team fully integrated in our wider business.
“We’re incredibly optimistic for the future, with our team motivated, empowered and ready for a challenge – as we continue to deliver on the vision we put in place a decade ago.”
