Hodgson Sayers appoints trio amid strong order book

Stanley-based roofing and building maintenance specialist Hodgson Sayers has strengthened its team with key appointments to support its growing project portfolio.

Aaron Elliott and David Spence have joined as contracts managers, bringing expertise in heritage restoration and project oversight.

Aaron is leading a major Grade I-listed restoration at Woodlands Hall, building on his experience with sites including Durham Castle and Durham Cathedral.

He said: “One of the reasons I was attracted to Hodgson Sayers is because of the high standards the business sets.

“It’s the most thorough company I’ve worked for in terms of compliance and health and safety and there’s real depth in the team.

“There’s also great support in terms of training and development.

“I’m keen to expand my experience in pitched roofing and I’ll be undertaking further product and industry training so I can take on more of these projects going forward.”

David, meanwhile, will manage several important contracts.

David added: “From day one I could see how well organised the company is.

“There’s a clear commitment to doing things properly and a real sense of purpose that runs through the whole team.

“Hodgson Sayers is growth orientated with a clear direction and I’m looking forward to helping deliver that strategy through our projects on the ground.”

Will Wigham joins as assistant quantity surveyor, supporting technical progression and early career development within the firm.

With a strong order book and expanding public and private sector contracts across Northern England and the Midlands, Hodgson Sayers continues to build its reputation for quality and social value.

John Sayers, managing director of Hodgson Sayers, added: “We’re delighted to welcome David, Aaron and Will to the team.

“Each brings a different skill set and perspective to the business which is exactly what we need as we continue to grow and diversify.

“As we continue to take on increasingly complex and specialised projects, it’s important we strengthen the team to make sure we deliver the highest quality and value for our clients.

“These appointments are an important part of that journey.”
