Liberty Rock Property names new managing director
Boutique private office and wealth advisory firm Liberty Rock has appointed Paul Finch as managing director of Liberty Rock Property, the firm’s specialist property advisory arm.
Paul brings nearly 40 years of experience in ultra-prime real estate, having led major off-market deals in London and global wealth hubs.
He previously held senior roles at Beauchamp Estates and has advised UHNW clients and developers including the Reuben Brothers, Berkeley Homes and Amazon Property Group.
Paul will work closely with chief executive Scott-havard Williams to expand Liberty Rock’s integrated private office services across property, tax, finance and lifestyle.
Paul said: “I am delighted to be joining Liberty Rock and heading up the property division at a highly momentous period of change to business models and funding within the property industry.
“The ultra-prime property sector is seeing the long-term decline in traditional high-street estate agency, replaced by dynamic wealth advisory firms like Liberty Rock and digitally driven boutique agents.
“Alongside this the development finance sector is undergoing a significant shift with high street banks being replaced by private family offices and individuals as the key source of real estate funding for both single and multi-unit projects.
“I have huge admiration for Scott-havard Williams and his colleagues and Liberty Rock is expanding quickly and is ideally positioned to take advantage of these changes.
“Clients demand far more personal representation in a market that requires agility, off-market access and an ability to advise on the creative structuring of finance and special purpose vehicles.”
Scott-havard Williams added: “Liberty Rock is delighted to welcome property industry dynamo Paul Finch to our senior team of directors.
“We have been expanding rapidly and see significant growth opportunities with Paul at the helm of our real estate division.
“For family offices and private ultra-high-net-worth individuals global real estate investment and portfolio management for their personal homes is a key part of their wealth management requirements.
“Our growing real estate department will really benefit from the deep knowledge, access to exclusive trophy real estate opportunities and network of contacts that Paul will bring to the business.”
