
Kirkwood Timber Frame expands south of the border
Offsite manufacturing specialist Kirkwood Timber Frame has appointed two new recruits to support its expansion across England and Wales.
County Durham natives Antony Bayles and Morgan Howe have joined as technical sales manager and contracts supervisor, respectively.
Both bring extensive experience in the timber frame and construction sectors and will lead the Aberdeenshire firm’s English growth, supporting the design and delivery of new timber frame structures.
Antony and Morgan will be based in the North of England, supported by managing director Malcolm Thomson and business development director Barbara Massie, as the company looks to grow its national customer base and secure further commercial contracts.
Antony said: “I've worked in the MMC timber frame construction industry - on both the manufacturing and design side right through to overseeing large projects on an international level.
“I feel that my well-rounded knowledge and understanding of the sector will support what is already a strong team at Kirkwood Timber Frame, as the business looks to secure further work in England.”
Morgan added: “I am confident that as a team, Antony and I have the knowledge and experience to support customers through the entire timber frame process from procurement, design and technical, to the install on site.
“We are well connected so know tried and tested partners that can help facilitate the seamless delivery of timber frame projects on developments, saving clients time and money as well as supporting in the creation of energy efficient and sustainable properties.”
Founded in 2021, Kirkwood Timber Frame has invested over £3 million in its production facilities and is capable of delivering up to 2000 timber frame structures per year.
The firm has a strong pipeline across the UK, including major housebuilding partnerships and student accommodation.
