Pragmatic Semiconductor appoints EVP of Engineering
Cambridge-based Pragmatic Semiconductor Ltd., a pioneer in flexible semiconductor technology, has appointed John Quigley as executive vice president of engineering.
John will oversee technology development, IC design, and applications engineering.
With over 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, John brings deep technical expertise and global leadership skills.
He previously served as senior vice president of research and development for microprocessor and microcontroller engineering at NXP Semiconductors, leading major product portfolios including RFID and secure mobile platforms.
John has also held senior roles at Quantenna, Ikanos Communications, SiRF Technology, Airgo Networks and Motorola.
He has relocated from the US to Pragmatic’s Cambridge headquarters to drive the company’s technology and product growth at scale.
John said: “It’s an honour to join Pragmatic Semiconductor and lead the talented and dedicated engineering teams to deliver game-changing, innovative flexible IC technology.
