Bellrock builds with Summers-Inman takeover
A building maintenance and facilities management firm has expanded with a takeover.
Bellrock has bought Summers-Inman.
Bosses say the deal for the Newcastle-headquartered construction and property consultant “marks a significant milestone” in national operator Bellrock’s expansion plans.
They add it will “diversify Bellrock’s consultancy offerings nationwide” and boost the London, Leicester, Bristol and Sheffield-based firm’s ambitions to become a top-15 building consulting business.
Under the terms of the agreement, Summers-Inman will operate within Bellrock’s consulting division.
Founded more than 100 years ago, Summers-Inman provides cost management, quantity surveying, project management and building surveying services nationwide.
It complements its Newcastle head office with sites in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Leicester, London, Manchester and Billingham, near Middlesbrough.
Carlo Alloni, Bellrock chief executive, said: “This acquisition reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional value to clients and teams.
“Together, we will continue to grow and innovate, driving success and creating unique value.”
David Cronje, Summers-Inman managing director, added: “This is a transformative step for the business.
“This partnership will unlock new opportunities for growth, allow us to better serve clients and strengthen our position in the marketplace.”
