New agency brings Wow factor to PR
A London-based creative agency has launched with early success.
Founded by former Taylor Herring director Delilah Pollard, Holy Wow! is a new full-service communications agency offering a blend of creative campaigns, digital content and SEO strategy.
It already counts Bensons for Beds among its first retainer clients and has secured two other early wins.
With no external investment, the agency has made its first hires and is aiming to bridge the gap between bold brand storytelling and smart search performance.
Delilah brings more than two decades of experience from agencies including Wild Card, Clarion and Storm, having led campaigns for brands such as Sony, BT and Kellogg’s.
She said: “Over the last several years, there’s been a significant overlap between traditional and digital PR, with digital agencies chasing links but lacking creativity and PR agencies championing creativity but lacking tangible metrics.
“We’ve seen time and time again how brands consider SEO as the be-all-and-end-all when it comes to increasing online visibility and consideration, but the rise in GEO and the shift in how people search has levelled the playing field.
“Traditional PR, content and SEO can no longer live in silos as journalists are increasingly being dictated to by algorithms to help identify stories that their readers are interested in.
“Good PR that resonates emotionally and taps into topical and relatable real-world conversations not only builds fame, trust and credibility, but has also become critical for search and organic growth.
“I saw an opportunity to bring PR, content and SEO together through Holy Wow’s integrated offering, which focuses on cost-effective, small-powerful ideas that build brand relevance and can be executed across brand, digital and PR channels to mighty effect.”
