Historic church converted to student sanctuary
A student accommodation provider has transformed a historic city centre church.
Xenia Students has redeveloped the 19th century St Andrews Church, in Liverpool, into high-specification student living, reopening in time for September 2025.
While preserving the building’s original architecture, the interiors now feature private en-suites, study spaces, smart TVs, communal kitchens and modern social areas.
Students will also benefit from a cinema room, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi and 24/7 security.
Dannielle Britt, head of lettings at Xenia Students, said: “St Andrews Church is unlike anything else on the market – it's an exclusive, community-driven residence with real character.
“We’re inviting students to come and see it for themselves – it’s truly something special.”
