Maintech Power boosts operations leadership
HV specialist Maintech Power has promoted Sam Davey to head of operations – maintenance, as the Ipswich-based business continues to grow its UK-wide operations and maintenance portfolio.
With over 25 years’ industry experience, Sam began his career as an engineering apprentice at British Sugar and has since led HV services on major windfarm projects and across critical sectors.
He joined Maintech in 2024 as HV project manager before a swift promotion to head of operations for major projects.
In his new role, Sam now leads the operations and maintenance division, overseeing senior HV managers and inspection and maintenance services at more than 300 live sites.
He said: “Maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients is absolutely vital and that’s key priority for me in this role.
“I’m also looking forward to continuing to build the team as we continue to deliver reliable, high-quality HV services to existing and new customers nationwide.”
Maintech Power works across defence, NHS, financial services and major infrastructure sectors, supporting clients with specialist HV solutions across the UK.
Aaron Sallows, divisional director, added: “Sam has brought a wealth of practical knowledge and leadership to the business, developed over decades in the HV industry.
“His experience in delivering complex energy projects makes him ideally placed to lead our growing maintenance division.
“This promotion reflects our continued investment in internal talent and our commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients across the UK.”
