Builder unveils regional managing director
Flintshire-based housebuilder Anwyl Homes has appointed Mark Calvert as managing director for Cheshire and North Wales.
Mark will lead operations across the wider region, including parts of Shropshire, Wirral and Greater Manchester.
He brings more than 25 years’ industry experience, most recently from Kellen Homes and will be based at the firm’s Ewloe head office, playing a key role in expanding Anwyl’s land pipeline and community developments.
Mark said: “I’ve always been passionate about creating communities – it’s what drew me to housebuilding from the outset.
“Anwyl Homes has an excellent reputation as a family-owned business and I’m proud to be joining a company committed to quality and long-term growth.
“My priorities include building on the strong reputation of the business, creating sustainable communities, and mentoring the next generation of talent in our team.”
Mark’s appointment follows internal promotions, with Lucy Crawford becoming engineering manager, Tomos Hughes being promoted to site manager, and Tom Mullins being named strategic land manager.
Phil Dolan, chief operating officer at Anwyl, added: “Mark brings his wealth of industry knowledge and strong regional experience to the role.
“His track record in leadership and building strong teams will be invaluable as we continue to grow, acquire land in new areas and deliver high quality homes across the North West and North Wales.”
