Double Puc brews new beginnings at Crescent

A Bristol-based café business is expanding its presence with a new site at a landmark city centre development.

Independent operator Double Puc Café will run the new café at Crescent, CEG’s £30 million redevelopment in Temple Quarter, which offers 100,000sq ft of workspace with wellness and cycling facilities, private terraces and Bristol’s largest city centre garden.

Double Puc will serve its speciality coffee and food in the shared ground floor space, open to both Crescent tenants and the public.

The company, which has worked with energy company OVO since 2014, will also get to continue that relationship as OVO becomes the building’s first tenant.

Griff Holland, co-founder of Double Puc Café, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be following OVO Energy into Crescent.

“It’s a privilege to have supported their team with food and drink for the past ten years, and even more exciting to continue that journey in a space as future-focused and inspiring as Crescent.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming tenants and the wider community with the warm, high-quality hospitality that Double Puc is known for.”

Paul Richardson, investment manager at CEG, added: “It’s great to welcome Double Puc Cafe to Crescent.

“The company’s strong Bristol roots provide a perfect fit as we were seeking a high quality, independent café brand in keeping with our vision of creating a thriving, healthy and productive community at Crescent.

“Double Puc’s focus on sustainability and community aligns perfectly with CEG’s values.”
