Forvis Mazars set to double office space
A Birmingham-based accountancy firm is expanding with a move to larger offices.
Forvis Mazars has announced it will relocate from Two Chamberlain Square to the second floor of the newly completed Three Chamberlain Square, doubling its footprint to 22,858sq ft.
Bosses say the move supports the company’s continued growth in Birmingham and reinforces the appeal of the Paradise estate, which is quickly becoming a hub for professional and financial services.
Stephen Lewis managing partner of the Birmingham office at Forvis Mazars, said: “Relocating to Three Chamberlain Square marks a pivotal moment for our award-winning team.
“Driven by unprecedented regional growth, this move provides us with the expanded home we need to harness our local expertise and deep market insight.
“We are establishing a truly sustainable centre of excellence for our firm and our people, and a work home here that everyone will enjoy being part of.
“With local, regional, and national connectivity at our doorstep, we remain firmly positioned at the heart of the region’s business community.”
Three Chamberlain Square, developed by MEPC, is part of the wider £1 billion Paradise redevelopment in the city’s Enterprise Zone.
Designed by award-winning architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, the ten-storey building is one of the UK’s most sustainable commercial spaces, with BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 5* ratings.
Features include an all-electric infrastructure, 8000 bespoke low-carbon terracotta façade panels, 300 openable windows and smart building technology focused on wellbeing and energy efficiency.
The Paradise project is being delivered by a public-private joint venture with Birmingham City Council and managed by Federated Hermes, alongside Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
Ross Fittall, commercial development director at Paradise asset manager and developer MEPC, added: “We’re very proud that Forvis Mazars has given us another vote of confidence by moving their existing office at Paradise to our next commercial building, Three Chamberlain Square, next door to their current base.
“A building with a unique, low carbon design as well as its NABERS 5* and BREEAM Outstanding accreditations, Three Chamberlain Square is helping us to set a new standard in the city for both environmentally conscious architecture and premium, people-focussed commercial space.
“This is what has already resonated with a raft of forward-looking businesses, including Forvis Mazars.”
