Property agency bags fresh retailer agreement
A commercial property agency is celebrating after bagging a retail contract extension.
Innes England has secured a five-year deal with The Co-operative Group.
The firm is overseeing around 400 properties across the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber and Wales, which bosses say covers a “significant part” of the convenience store operator’s commercial estate.
The contract builds on work across Co-op bases in the East and West Midlands and East of England, and will see Innes England – which has bases in Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham and Leicester – provide support on areas including maintenance, acquisitions and disposals, and managing lease events.
Matt Howson, Innes England director, said: “This is a really significant win for the business.
“We’ve worked closely with the Co-op for many years, and this new appointment reflects the strength of that relationship and the quality of the service we’ve consistently delivered.”
