Buddy Media Group strengthens team with senior hires
London-based creative-first social agency Buddy Media Group has announced a series of senior appointments as the agency continues to grow through new business wins and expanding client relationships.
The new team members include Sam Hills, who joins as creative lead from The Fifth, bringing experience working with clients such as UKTV, Eurostar, DKNY and McLaren Racing.
Sam will work closely with the agency’s creative director Nik Marinkovic to build and define the creative department.
Amanda Elliott takes on the role of organic social lead, having previously been a senior strategist at Ralph Creative.
She will lead strategic development and manage day-to-day client accounts, including Edgewell, Aviva and Cheval.
Meanwhile, Megan Rae Grove joins as performance lead from AKA UK and will focus on campaigns for Edgewell, with past work on major brands such as the British Museum and Stranger Things on Stage.
The agency has also welcomed Ella Noonan, as social creative; Simon Grabham, as account manager; and Lilo Schiffbauer, as senior performance executive.
Ella’s creative expertise will support Buddy Media’s work with Aviva, while Simon will manage client accounts including Bulldog and Aviva.
Lilo brings nonprofit marketing experience to her role, working across multiple Edgewell brands such as Wilkinson and Hawaiian Tropic.
The new hires highlight a pivotal moment of growth for Buddy Media Group as it expands its services and strengthens its position in the social media marketing space.
Sam Budd, chief executive and founder of Buddy Media Group, said “I am thrilled to welcome so many incredible new creative minds into Buddy, not just to support our recent growth but also our ambition to stay at the forefront of social first storytelling.
“Being at a stage where we can attract talent from the likes of Edelman, Coolr and The Fifth is a reminder of how far we have come as an agency.”
