John N Dunn Group appoints new finance manager
John N Dunn Group has appointed Liam-Anthony Scott as finance manager, strengthening its team following a period of growth across all three of its regional operations.
Based at the Group’s Newcastle headquarters, Liam will oversee daily financial operations and support finance director Ben Willcox with divisional needs.
He also manages a core team including a purchase ledger supervisor, payroll manager, finance assistant and apprentice.
Liam, 28, from Bishop Auckland, previously worked as assistant site controller for an international chemical manufacturer, covering two UK sites.
His new role offers broader financial oversight and increased responsibility.
Liam said: “I’ve really enjoyed jumping into a position with such a broad range of financial elements and more responsibility.
“In my initial conversations with Ben Willcox, the Group’s finance director, opportunities for progression were discussed and encouraged.
“It’s great to be part of a team that genuinely works so well alongside each other.
“The culture is exceptional and there’s a constant buzz in the office alongside a flow of chatter among everyone.
“It’s been rewarding to experience a different working environment and new challenges compared to my previous role, where I gained valuable experience within a smaller team.
“John N Dunn Group is a thriving business with a long history that is looking to the future with laser focus and that makes my role exciting and purposeful.”
John N Dunn Group is a leading mechanical and electrical building services contractor, employing over 300 people and delivering commercial, residential and public sector projects throughout the UK.
With more than 7000 contracts completed, it continues to expand its reach while maintaining long-standing partnerships with major housing developers, associations and commercial clients.
Stephen Bilclough, Group chairman, added: “We have a very healthy order book across our regional offices in Newcastle, Leeds and Edinburgh.
“As our projects and pipeline continue to grow, so does the need to strengthen our internal teams.
“Liam’s appointment is a key part of that growth and we’re pleased to welcome him to the business.
“Alongside Liam, we have also employed 15 operatives to ensure we meet demand for our services.”
