Vypr appoints international CRO
Vypr, the Manchester-based product intelligence platform, has appointed Sam Gilding as international chief revenue officer to lead its global expansion.
Following a £4 million investment from YFM, Vypr is accelerating growth into the US, Australia and new European markets.
Since joining in 2020 as sales and marketing Director, Sam has helped quadruple UK new business sales.
He now heads the international team, supported by two internal promotions and two new hires, including demand generation specialist Josh Leung.
Sam said: “We’re at a critical stage of growth where it’s essential we have the right people in place to achieve our plans.
“Demonstrating the opportunity ahead of us, technology analysts Forrester have just named us one of their 25 APAC ‘Retail-Focused Tech Companies to Watch’.
“Our international expansion is underpinned by our team’s deep-rooted retail industry knowledge and the insight we have from supporting global brands and retailers like Kraft Heinz, Red Bull and Starbucks.
“Our strategy is to promote from within our brilliant team and bring in those with new skills that will propel us forward.”
Josh added: “This is the perfect role for me as I have previously led a team to deliver growth strategies across the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
“It’s such an exciting time to join Vypr and I’m looking forward to working on the frontline of our international expansion.”
