Sybron cleans up with Midlands expansion
A UK cleaning and catering supplier is expanding operations with a new site in the Midlands.
Sybron, which provides cleaning, hygiene and catering products to UK hospitality businesses, is opening a second distribution centre in Stafford.
Joe McCann, who joined the company five years ago, will lead the new depot.

Bosses say the move will boost its service to national clients and improve delivery across key northern and central cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.
They add that the site is expected to be operational by November 2025 and will feature solar panels and EV charging points to support the company’s net-zero goals, while recruitment for new staff will begin in September.
George Mason, sales and marketing director, said: “This is a big step forward for us and a reflection of our ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible service to our customers nationwide.
“We’re really excited about this next chapter for Sybron, focusing on ensuring the long-term success of the business, whilst at the same time preserving and expanding on the business legacy built by the founders.”
The development follows a management buyout at Sybron and adds to recent business growth, which includes new eco-friendly product lines including SyBio and SySoft.
Bradley Henwood, operations director, added: “We will establish and run the new depot in the right way, led by Joe, an experienced member of our Essex team, to ensure our values and culture carry through.
“We’re confident this new depot will be a brilliant extension of everything Sybron stands for.
“Also, importantly at Sybron headquarters it is business as usual, with no changes to the team as we continue to grow.”
