Dalton Park welcomes new dining experience
A County Durham shopping destination is set to welcome a new food and drink experience this summer.
Dalton Park Outlet has announced the arrival of Cafebar eighteen38, a stylish Scottish-born venue making its English debut.
Opening today (Friday, July 25), the new café-bar will serve premium steak dishes, family favourites such as burgers, pizzas and salads and signature cocktails in a relaxed, contemporary setting.
With ingredients sourced from David Stein Butchers and a menu inspired by both Scottish and North East traditions, the venue will also offer al fresco dining and live music at weekends.
Guests can try the Dalton Delight cocktail, created in partnership with local producer WL Distillery, bringing a refreshing taste of the outlet’s parklands to the glass.
The stylish bar and restaurant also features an outdoor terrace, live music at weekends and an interactive Hot Rocks experience, allowing diners to cook their own steaks at the table.
Kirsty Weir and Louise Campbell, managing directors at Cafebar eighteen38, said: “Opening Cafebar eighteen38 at Dalton Park Outlet is a fantastic and exciting milestone for us.
“This prime location allows us to connect with a lively community and share our passion for exceptional food and ambience.
“We’re incredibly excited to open the doors and welcome guests in to share our vision and create memorable experiences in this brilliant setting.”
The opening marks the latest addition to Dalton Park’s expanding leisure line-up and is expected to boost evening footfall.
Richard Kaye, centre manager at Dalton Park, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Cafebar eighteen38 to Dalton Park Outlet.
“It’s an exciting addition that perfectly complements our already diverse mix of dining options, offering our visitors even more choice.
“Diners can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere, fantastic food and something a bit different with the unique experience of Cafebar’s signature Hot Rocks dining.”
