APS UK expands team following contract wins
York-based dust extraction specialist APS UK Ltd has strengthened its workforce with three new appointments as demand continues to grow across the UK.
Robert Johnson joins as area sales manager for the North West and Scotland, bringing more than two decades of experience in dust control, system design, and explosion protection.
With ATEX and DSEAR expertise, and asbestos surveying qualifications, Robert’s background spans both industrial and military environments, having also served in the Royal Air Force.
He is joined by cousins Joe and Jordan Haggerston, who take up roles as site fitters, supporting the installation and servicing of dust extraction systems.
The hires follow a series of contract wins, particularly within the food and beverage processing sector.
APS recently completed a major project at Fox’s Biscuits in West Yorkshire and continues to deliver bespoke systems to manufacturers across food, pharma and other high-risk sectors.
Matt Brown, APS sales director, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Rob, Joe and Jordan to APS, as we continue to strengthen and expand our team with experienced, talented people.
“We’ve enjoyed a great first half of 2025, with many new contract wins, and we’re looking forward to building on this over the next six months.”
