Boxbar Tech strengthens advisory board
Leeds-based Boxbar Tech, a leader in automated self-service drinks technology for stadiums, venues, festivals and events, has appointed Scott Martin to its advisory board.
Scott is a veteran of automated retail and co-founder of Coffee Nation, which became Costa Express.
With over 25 years of experience, Scott helped grow Costa Express from a UK startup into a global $700 million brand with more than 15,000 locations across 15 countries.
He later led Costa X, Coca-Cola’s innovation unit focused on tech-enabled customer experiences.
Scott said: “Boxbar Tech has created a genuinely disruptive solution that addresses real pain points in the hospitality industry.
“Having built and scaled automated retail solutions internationally, I recognise the immense potential for Boxbar Tech to transform how venues serve customers while dramatically improving their profitability.
“I'm excited to help the team navigate their next phase of growth.”
Scott’s appointment supports Boxbar Tech’s ambitions to scale internationally and drive continued innovation.
His expertise will be key in expanding the company’s presence worldwide, strengthening partnerships with hospitality and events groups, and advising on operational excellence to maintain industry-leading status during rapid growth.
Reshad Hossenally, chief executive and co-founder of Boxbar Tech, added: “Scott’s career is a blueprint for the kind of growth and innovation we aspire to at Boxbar Tech.
“His experience delivering robust, always-on, self-serve technology that operates 24/7/365 – and in scaling high-performance, tech-driven retail businesses around the world – is second to none.
“With Scott’s guidance, we’re strengthening our ability to scale globally and forge strategic partnerships that will take the Boxbar revolution to the next level.”
