Impression appoints first ever managing partner

Impression, a performance marketing agency and certified B Corp™ with offices in Nottingham, London, Manchester and New York, has appointed David Johnson as its first managing partner as the business expands into new markets and secures new clients.

In his new role, David will be responsible for driving client success and overseeing around half of Impression’s revenue. 

He will focus on shaping the agency into an even more client-centric organisation, enhancing services to meet evolving client needs.

David said: “I’m delighted to be joining Impression as the first managing partner at a time of major growth for the agency. 

“As our client needs continue to develop and shift, I look forward to applying my knowledge and experience of client services to guide brands through their long-term challenges.”

David’s appointment comes at a time of significant growth for Impression, which recently announced a series of new client wins including Stella McCartney, Oliver Bonas and Castore.

The agency has also strengthened its presence in the North of England through the launch and expansion of its Manchester office, where David will be based.

David brings over 25 years of experience in growth and client services, having held senior roles at several UK and international agencies and publishers. 

He joins Impression from Dentsu, where he was most recently client director, and has worked across sectors including ecommerce, retail, automotive, travel and healthcare.
