New leadership joins FCHO board
Three professionals from Greater Manchester have joined the board of First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO), as the housing association continues to strengthen its governance.
Ade Alao, Jackie Njoroge and Sarfaraz Akram each bring extensive experience across housing, education, and business strategy, and will serve an initial three-year term as non-executive directors.
Jackie is chief strategy and data officer at the University of Salford; Sarfaraz is chief operating officer at Lancashire Farm Dairies; and Ade is head of capital improvement at HM Courts & Tribunals Service.
Their appointments follow the departure of Hilda Kaponda and Sabihah Khalil, who were thanked for their valued contributions.
Amanda Harris, FCHO board chair, said: “It is vitally important our board can assist FCHO by using its experience, skills and real-world acumen as we continue to improve our services for our customers and expand our development pipeline.
“These three new appointments will do just that and FCHO is delighted Ade, Jackie and Sarfaraz – three local people – are now in post and using their expertise to help make a difference to FCHO.”
