Tribes strengthens board to fuel expansion
Manchester-based development community Tribes has appointed Nick Richardson as non-executive director as it enters a new phase of strategic growth.
Founder of The Insights Family and an experienced tech entrepreneur, Nick brings scale-up expertise at a pivotal moment for Tribes, following a record-breaking year in 2024.
His appointment supports the continued expansion of DevCheck®, the agency’s proprietary vetting platform, and a growing global network of over 20,000 tech professionals.
Nick said: “The time is now for Tribes – their unique proposition provides a “win, win, win” situation for their clients, their developers and of course for Tribes themselves.
“It has been a pleasure to work with Bruce, David, Steven and Nora to shape their future strategy, and I’m excited to work with them to turn their future strategy into reality.”
Bruce Thomas, founder of Tribes Agency, added: “Nick brings a sharp understanding of innovation and strategic growth.
“His track record in building The Insights Family resonated with our ambitions at Tribes.
“Since joining us earlier this year, he’s already made a significant impact across the business.”
Tribes provides high-performance development talent to brands including Compare the Market, Hitachi and Universal Music Group, and has recently launched DevCheck® v2 and a redesigned website.
David Elkabas, managing director, added: “Nick’s expertise in marketing, strategy and investment rounds out our leadership team with powerful capability.
“His insight is helping shape our strategic pillars as we scale Tribes and shape and model our future offerings.”
