Holiday firm completes £4.1 million club revival
A family-run holiday venue operator has completed a £4.1 million project to revive a fire-ravaged hub.
Patrington Haven Leisure Park has officially unveiled its new Country Club.
The venue includes a bar and restaurant, a coffee lounge, an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna and steam rooms.
The transformation comes more than a year after the venue was ruined by a fire that destroyed its original restaurant and bar areas and caused extensive smoke and water damage.
Bosses say the work represents “the biggest single investment” in the 41-year history of Patrington Haven Leisure Park, which sits west of Hull near Withernsea.
Guy Sparkes, Patrington Haven Leisure Park managing director, said: “This was never just about repairing the damage.
“We wanted to raise the bar for leisure facilities in a holiday park, and I think we’ve done that.”
Brigg-based Havercroft Construction led the work as main contractor alongside Gainsborough’s TPM Plumbing & Heating, Driffield-based Yorkshire Pools and PJD Electrical, of Burstwick, East Yorkshire.
