Traitors twist brings fundraising fun to Teesside
A North East charity is inviting businesses to test their nerve in a new TV-inspired team challenge.
Middlesbrough-based Teesside Hospice has launched Teesside Traitors, a fundraising event based on the hit BBC game show.
Set to take place on Friday, October 10 at Project Escape, the challenge will see 20 participants complete missions, outwit one another and uncover the traitors hiding among them.
The event is aimed at North East businesses keen to put forward brave employees ready to strategise and deceive their way to victory.
Tilly Roberts, community and events manager at Teesside Hospice, said: “If you’re a fan of the Traitors show in particular, this event is not one to be missed.
“We’re calling on businesses across the North East to come together to enjoy something unique while also supporting an important cause.
“The event will closely mirror the TV show and game, with a few twists and turns to keep you on your toes.
“It’s the perfect event for corporates looking to have fun – why not nominate your boss or a colleague to see if they can handle the ultimate test of trust?”
Funds raised will support the hospice’s vital work with people facing life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Teesside Hospice provides specialist in-patient care, bereavement support and wellbeing services, and must raise over 70 per cent of its £6.75 million annual running costs through donations and community events.
Tilly added: “Events are a huge part of our fundraising for the hospice and we’re always trying to drum up new ways for people to get involved with our charity and support the local people who use our services.
“With the launch of Teesside Traitors, we’re excited to bring everyone together to give the hospice a vital boost, while also having lots of fun – and a bit of treachery!
“Will you join us at the roundtable and help raise vital funds and awareness for Teesside Hospice?”
