Vet practice hails 'new era' after base refurb
A veterinary practice has hailed the beginning of a “new era” after transforming its base.
Beehive Vets has remodelled its headquarters to meet rising demand.
Upgrades include a new consultation room and reception space complete with separate areas for dogs and cats.
Bosses say the investment will help treat 35 extra animals every week, with further plans in place to recruit a vet and receptionist.
Esther Green, veterinary surgeon and co-owner of Beehive Vets, which operates from Rothwell, on the outskirts of Leeds, said: “We’ve been getting busier and busier over the last 12 months, and we were starting to see the limitations of our previous space.
“The new-look Beehive is much more user-friendly, and means we can treat more animals.
“The feedback has been great, especially from pet owners with particularly nervous or reactive animals.
“We’re delighted to welcome everyone to this new era.”
