A builder is creating jobs in a bid to cement order book growth.
True North Construction is recruiting site management, project delivery and trade staff as it seeks to secure £5 million-plus residential contracts and expand commercial sector work.
The move comes after turnover at the Newcastle-based operator jumped 60 per cent in a “landmark” year that also saw the firm double its workforce to 30.
Operating across the residential and hospitality, healthcare, childcare and office sectors, the 2019-founded business’ portfolio includes property extensions, refurbishments and new builds.
Steven Henderson, director, said: “Our growth has been fast but strategic, and reflects the quality services we provide to clients, many of whom have been with us since 2019.
“We’ve prioritised recruiting the right people who share our passion for quality and attention to detail.”
Fellow director David Roberts added: “We have ambitious plans for the future.
“Doubling our workforce and turnover in the past year shows we’re on the right path and we’re just getting started.
“Our goal is to continue expanding our reach across the North East, attracting top talent and delivering sustainable, high-quality projects that make a real difference to our clients and communities.”
