Tyger roars onto North East comms scene
A Newcastle-based communications specialist has unveiled a new brand following rapid growth in her freelance business.
Tyger is the new brand from Jane Imrie, a former business journalist and experienced comms consultant, reflecting her expanding work with clients across B2B, arts, culture and third-sector organisations.
Since going freelance in 2023, Jane has supported a broad mix of organisations – from global tech firms and regional councils to grassroots arts projects – with content, PR and strategy.
Her career spans both journalism and agency roles, including time at Redu Group, Crystallised and O Agency.
Through Tyger, Jane will continue offering values-led communications support while collaborating with trusted freelance partners to deliver creative, flexible campaigns.
She said: “Since going freelance, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with various organisations to amplify the great work they’re doing and help them shape their brand narrative.
“It’s been amazing to watch my business evolve and thrive over the past two years, and I’m so excited about the next phase of growth.
“There is some truly outstanding freelance talent right here in the region, so being able to work collaboratively on campaigns will be fantastic.
“I can’t wait to bring Tyger to life, so that I can keep helping clients, both in the North East and beyond, who are doing incredible things to find their voice and share their stories with the world.”
