Hot tub brand rides wave of success
A North East leisure brand is expanding its global footprint from a thriving business hub in Gosforth.
Wave, based at Adderstone Group’s Bakers Yard, has grown from inflatable hot tubs into a premium lifestyle brand offering portable saunas, ice baths, paddleboards and kayaks.
With international ambitions and plans to double sales, the company is positioning itself as a global household name.
Bosses at Wave say the business will continue to grow its North East team, creating new opportunities in the region.
Tom Jeffrey, creative director at Wave, said: “We knew we needed a warm, fresh, inspiring environment for our next generation of staff and Bakers Yard ticked all the boxes.
“The flexible layout, breakout rooms and collaborative spaces make it ideal for both teamwork and international communications with our partners in the US and China.”
Located just minutes from Newcastle city centre, Bakers Yard is home to a growing community of innovative companies, drawn by its mix of office, warehouse and industrial space, ample parking and excellent transport links.
Kate Grant, director of estates at Adderstone Group, added: “Wave is the perfect example of how Bakers Yard supports businesses with big ideas.
“We continue to shape our spaces around the needs of growing companies and offer the flexibility and infrastructure to help them thrive whether they’re serving local communities or global markets.”
