Engineer 'set for growth' after office switch
A civil and structural engineering consultancy is creating jobs after completing an office expansion.
HJ Consulting Engineers says it is “actively recruiting” following a switch to Wakefield 41 Business Park.
Bosses say the base, close to the M1 motorway, “marks a major milestone” in UK-wide growth plans, with the site set to “support its growing client base and nationwide project portfolio.”
They add the move – from a hub in nearby Lofthouse – comes after four staff joined the business, taking its headcount to 25 engineers.
Founded in 2008, the firm works across the commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors, providing services such as civil engineering and structural engineering design, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies.
Andrew Fairburn, managing director, said: “Our new base at Wakefield 41 Business Park is ideally located to serve our clients across the UK.
“It reflects the scale of the business and positions us well for continued growth.
“The office gives our expanding team the space and facilities they need to collaborate effectively and deliver the high standard of service for which we’re known.”
