Stradivarius opens flagship Metrocentre store
A global fashion brand has opened its first North East store.
Stradivarius, part of the Inditex group, has officially opened its new “flagship store” at Metrocentre, in Gateshead.
The Spanish fashion label brings a fresh mix of trend-led pieces, timeless denim staples and bold accessories to the centre’s Lower Red Mall, positioned close to fellow Inditex brand Zara.
Known for its affordable and stylish collections, Stradivarius appeals to a broad demographic of fashion-conscious shoppers looking for everyday essentials with flair.
The launch strengthens Metrocentre’s fashion credentials and expands its line-up of high street favourites.
The shopping centre continues to grow its retail offering, with Urban Outfitters and Danish homeware brand Søstrene Grene both set to open later this year.
Gavin Prior, centre director at Metrocentre, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Stradivarius to Metrocentre.
“There’s been so much anticipation around the launch of the store and it’s fantastic to finally see the doors open and shoppers exploring the brand’s unique offering.
“It’s another exciting milestone as we continue to bring exclusive, in-demand names to the North East.”
