Click Labs buys Evermile to boost retail service
An international tech firm has expanded with a takeover.
Click Labs Inc has bought retail software operator Evermile.
Bosses say the deal “strengthens Click Labs’ position in the retail tech space” and will create a combined platform that will “accelerate product innovation, simplify daily operations and empower retailers”.
Under the terms of the deal, Evermile will operate as a standalone brand in the near term, with its technology gradually integrated into Click Labs’ product suite, which includes the JungleWorks, Tookan and Yelo brands.
Operating from hubs in the US and India, Click Labs’ software supports firms’ ordering, delivery and customer management functions.
London and Tel Aviv-based Evermile’s artificial intelligence-backed technology helps traders centralise orders, automate workflows and create targeted marketing campaigns.
Co-founded by Omer Goldschmidt, Ynon Cohen and Omry Hochberg, it supports thousands of independent retailers across the UK, counting partnerships with brands including Ottolenghi and Cake Box.
Samar Singla, Click Labs’ chief executive, said: “Evermile brings exceptional technology, deep operational expertise and a platform that merchants love.
“We’ll help retailers simplify operations, deliver seamless experiences and grow smarter in a demanding market.”
Omer, Evermile chief executive, added: “Our mission has always been to help small teams compete at the highest level, without needing complex, expensive tools or large teams.
“By joining Click Labs, we can now take that mission global.”
