Padel operator serves up new retail park venue
A leisure operator is expanding with a padel court and gym venture.
CLUBHOUSE UK is opening a base on Blackburn’s Hyndburn Retail Park.
The 23,000sq ft venue – set to open in September – will include six padel courts, a gym and coffee lounge.
Dan Wilkins, CLUBHOUSE UK founder, said: “We’ve brought together padel, functional fitness and a social experience under one roof, in a space designed to inspire people to move.
“We can’t wait to open our doors after more than 18 months of research, development and hard work from our team.”
Bruce Edmonson, director of retail parks and development at Peel Retail and Leisure, which operates Hyndburn Retail Park, added: “We’re delighted to welcome CLUBHOUSE UK.
“The centre will bring another innovative concept to the area, and we look forward to supporting what will be a true fitness hub for the community.”
