Housing firm grows with builder partnership
A modular housing firm transforming garages into homes has unveiled national growth plans after agreeing a construction partnership.
HUSK is working with MGM.
Bosses say the tie-up will see Gateshead’s MGM use North Shields-based HUSK’s construction system to “unlock a significant number of homes” across the UK.
The deal follows a number of projects between the companies, which include a scheme in Amble, Northumberland, to transform a garage court into 14 properties.
Russell Edwards, HUSK managing director, said: “This partnership is a huge milestone in our mission to scale across the UK.
“MGM has consistently delivered to our exacting standards, and this agreement reflects our confidence in them as a trusted partner to carry the HUSK brand into new territory.”
Chris Evans, MGM Construction commercial director, added: “We’re proud to be the first licensed delivery partner for HUSK.
“This partnership opens the door to unlocking the potential of hundreds of forgotten sites across the UK.”
