Window firm's smashing housebuilding progress
A glazing firm has boosted its order book with housing deals.
EYG Commercial has worked with Mulgrave Properties on two Yorkshire schemes.
The company fitted about 600 windows alongside composite front and back doors to properties on the Coast development in Burniston, near Scarborough.
It installed aluminium windows, doors and sliding patio doors on the four and five-bedroom Urban Renaissance site in Fulford, near York.
The work follows previous projects to install windows and doors at Mulgrave’s How Beck and Maple Court developments in Morton-on-Swale and Tholthorpe, near Easingwold, respectively.
It has also supported East Yorkshire-based Church Gate Homes and Beal Homes, with the latter including the ongoing Ferriby Meadows development in North Ferriby, near Hull, where 115 houses are being built as part of a £40 million blueprint.
Richard Saunders, sales and estimating director at EYG Commercial, which operates as part of Hull-based EYG Group, said: “We’re hugely proud to be trusted by a company like Mulgrave Properties.
“It has forged a reputation in the housebuilding sector for building high-specification homes, and demands the highest quality of partner for its windows and doors.
“We’ve been able to offer Mulgrave a wide range of options on products to meet unique home designs.
“This really appealed to them, giving them peace of mind that customers are benefitting from high-performance products in terms of energy efficiency, safety and longevity.”
Will Cowley, Mulgrave Properties’ area manager, added: “We choose EYG because they are honest and reliable, and their windows and doors are delivered on time and installed by skilled and friendly fitters.
“We have created some fantastic homes together.”
