Health and safety firm secures North West work
A health and safety training firm is in good spirits after boosting its client book.
Carney Consultancy has expanded across the North West.
The North Shields-based operator is working with family-owned civil engineer William Pye, Wigan’s Quince Homes and Cumbria’s Wannop Developments and Cubby Construction.
The firm is providing support to Preston-based William Pye through a team led by technical director Martin Crammond and senior health and safety consultant Jamie Clark.
Founded in 1958, William Pye counts the Royal Horticultural Society, the National Trust and Fleetwood Town Football Club among its clients.
Martin said: “While new client activity in our traditional markets in the North East remains strong, we are now seeing continued client growth in the North West and Yorkshire.
“We are delighted to welcome William Pye, which has ambitious plans for growth.
“We look forward to building a strong working relationship with the site management team.”
Alexandra Pye, William Pye contract manager, added: “Health and safety in the workplace is one of our main priorities.
“We are confident through our partnership with Carney Consultancy that we will be able to build on existing systems to ensure safe sites and healthy and happy employees.”
Carney Consultancy also recently secured work with Milburn Construction, based in Cramlington, Northumberland, and Blaydon’s Unique Joinery Solutions.
