Tyre fitter drives on with Middlesbrough expansion
A family-run car repair and tyre-fitting firm has expanded.
New Bridgegate Tyres has opened a five-job base in Middlesbrough.
And bosses say more roles are expected as the company grows from its new Tees Advanced Manufacturing Park site.
Director James Bowman said: “This expansion is a new challenge for us as a family-run business, and one that fits into our wider business growth plan across the North East.
“We’re delighted to offer our vehicle servicing to customers in Middlesbrough.”
The Teesside hub adds to existing bases in Newcastle; Birtley, near Gateshead; and Barnard Castle and Newton Aycliffe, in County Durham.
Director Guy Wilks added: “Our Middlesbrough base puts us right in the heart of a busy industrial hub and thriving town with a rich manufacturing heritage.
“This site is a big step forward for our business and for the communities we serve.”
