Kyle Falconer to take the stage at NE Volume
A North East music venue is set to host a unique live performance.
Scottish singer-songwriter Kyle Falconer, frontman of the Dundee indie band The View, will perform an intimate acoustic set at NE Volume Music Bar, in Stockton, on Saturday, September 13.
The show is part of a short UK tour, offering fans a close-up experience with one of the UK’s most distinctive voices.
Kyle rose to fame with The View, whose debut album Hats Off to the Buskers earned a Mercury Prize nomination, before the band entered a hiatus in 2017.
Since then, Kyle has built a solo career, releasing albums including No, Thank You (2018) and No Love Songs for Laura (2021), as well as this year’s acoustic reworking, The One I Love The Most.
The Stockton performance promises stripped-back versions of solo tracks such as Angelina and Family Tree, alongside reimagined classics from The View, making it a must-see for indie and acoustic music fans alike.
Kyle said: “These shows are all about the songs in their rawest form – just me, the guitar, and the stories behind them.
“I love doing these gigs because you can really feel the connection with the crowd.”
Tickets are available from £16.50. For more details, see nevolumebar.co.uk or seetickets.com.
